Postgraduates Studies.
I´ve always thought
about doing a postgraduate after getting the degree in musical interpretation,
but…I´ve never asked myself in what I want to specialize.
I think that this is
the perfect moment to think about it, doing research, I found out a lot of different
postgraduate courses in the artistic area, for example I can specialize in
musical interpretation, in musical composition or even in the investigation
area.
But I´d really like to do
a postgrad in Latin-American Musical Research, this involves developing the
ability to link different musical practices whit historical, social, and
cultural aspects of our continent, I’d like to take this one because this kind
of music is not so typically played in our repertoire.
My other option would
be doing a postgrad in musical interpretation, to expand my horizons and achieve
all my musical and artistic goals.
I’m planning to take
one of these two or three years after I finish my actual career, because I must
save money.
I think that one of the
possible obstacles would be losing my study rhythm, in the case I’m delayed in
resuming my studies.
I’d like to take the postgrad
on the University of Chile or the Andrés Bello University.
Supporting myself at
first will be complicated, but with time I’ll gain the experience I need.
Doing a postgrad is the
perfect way to have more chances to develop yourself professionally and have
more job opportunities.
