Current Academic Challenges

 


I think that this year has been rough, first, because of the university problems, the strikes, our country´s social issues and finally the pandemic situation, we had to face very serious problems and our learning was harmed.

Since the last year, I started online classes, at the beginning this was not a problem because I had only 2 subjects, flute classes and complementary piano, I had a lot of time to study and I didn´t have to travel to Santiago, this was not so bad because I spend a lot of time traveling. I enjoyed playing in the comfort of my house and not having to be worried to leave on time.



2021 has been a little more agitated, because now I´m having eight subjects, and sometimes the internet is not so good, now I have new subjects like Symphonic Orchestra or chamber music, in these ones I get to play with other musicians, I personally think that online practices lose the sense of making music.

Others subjects like Harmony or Music History aren´t a problem, these kinds of classes are easier to understand, therefore, having them online gives the same sensation of being in the classroom, the teacher can show examples and answer questions in a better way and also, these classes are recorded, so if you want to remember content, you only have to re-watch the class.



Promptly I will have to return face to face to the practical subjects, I would like to have the experience to play whit my colleagues.

Final blog.

  Finally, I want to speak about my blogging experience, throughout the year I had to develop several themes and I can’t believe how fast time passed. I really enjoyed blogging because it helped me to know myself and order my ideas, for example, introduce myself and start defining what to show and what is important to me, ask me why I choose my career, or what is my favorite subject, or what do I expect from my future in the professional area. my duty for the English subject it was develop all the topics that were presented to me, but sometimes it didn´t feel like an obligation. I think that bloggings have many advantages. The advantages will be that you create your own space to show a bit of your life and what do you think about different topics, along with meeting your colleagues. my career

  When I was child, I wished to became a painter. Painter was one of my favourites activities. However, as time passed by, I started to   be interested in playing musical instruments. As a result, I entered to the youth orchestra of my city . Since then, my interest in music has been growing. That is why, I decided to studied musical interpretation, measurement in flute. My experience in the University of Chile has been really satisfying.
