  I would like to speak about the subject “practica en conjunto”, this is divided in band and symphonic orchestra, they differ in the repertories that are played. At the beginning of the year I choose symphonic orchestra, the subject consists in played different repertories, but, how we can’t play together, I have to record my part and send it, after, the teacher correct us all the details. One class consist in check what we play and the other consist in analyze the general sheet music, along with meeting the composer and the historical context in which he made his works. We have to play three programs in the year, now we are played the second that is “petite symphonie”, a piece only of winds. I love this subject because analyze what we are playing to know what the composer wanted to express is very gratifying, and I love play whit other musicians. I really want to have this subject in person because is different be in the place and hear all the instruments collaborating ...

  When I got into the university, one of my first subject was music theory, in this, I had to identify harmonic functions, intervals, chords, melodies and scales by ear, that was something completely new for me, and it costs me a lot, I must say that my strength was solfeo and sight reading. Therefore, I started to improve different methods of study, since this point of view I could understand the subject, one of this, was practicing with the website that were recommended to me by my colleagues “ https://www.teoria.com/ ”. The website is divided in score analysis, “general explanations” of the subject in adding there is a part of problem resolution, in this you can customize them on a correct form, for example, choose only chords minor and diminished or play intervals in second, third, fifth and sixth, or play only arpeggios etc. the possibilities are many, and you can choose the difficulty.   I’m going to talk about this picture. In the year 2018 whit my orchestra we were invited to the first meeting of orchestras in Toki, for Mahani Teave, a renowned pianist. We stayed in the cultural center of Toki, this was built from recycled materials. When we aren´t rehearsing, we were touring and visiting the moais. This picture was taken in Rapanui for my best friend Felipe, he plays violin, In this, I’m jumping with Montserrat, she is my childhood friend, and who incited me to play in the Paine orchestra, she also play´s violin. At the bottom, we can see the Ahu Tongariki, this was a ceremonial center. I love so much this picture because reflects our happiness and the liberty that we felt, apart the landscape is so harmonic and majestic. We have lucky to be able visit this and other places, apart we can share whit other orchestras of different parts of Chile. I hope to return to visit this fantastic place.
